Construction Day Camp for Girls

Hosted by Professional Women in Building Date: Friday, October 17th, 8:45 AM – 1:00 PM Join us for an empowering day of hands-on learning at the Construction Day Camp for Girls! Designed for girls ages 9–12, this unique camp provides the opportunity to learn directly from women leaders in the construction industry. 

What to Expect: 

Build Your Own Step Stool: Each participant will be guided step-by-step to create a project they can take home. Learn New Skills: Campers will be introduced to a variety of tools and equipment available at Makerspace- under careful supervision. 

Explore Careers in Construction: Through conversations and demonstrations, girls will discover the many exciting career paths and success stories within the construction industry. 

Lunch Provided

We’ll take a break to enjoy lunch together before wrapping up the day.

 Event Details: Drop-off at 8:45 AM Pick-up is promptly at 1:00 PM Open to girls ages 9–12 

This camp is a fantastic way to inspire creativity, build confidence, and spark an interest in construction and skilled trades.

Drop off @ Makerspace at 8:45AM. Pick up at 1:00 PM.
