2024 LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCES

The leaders of IBXHBA recognize the importance of supporting our members and our community through legislative advocacy. While attending NAHB's Legislative Conference, IBXHBA representatives were able to meet with Representatives Don Davis, Richard Hudson, and the staff of Dr. Greg Murphy. Topics of conversation surrounded the effects of accelerated energy code enactment on the affordability of housing, persistent supply change issues, and the effects of national legislation on our locals.

At the beginning of the year the IBXHBA Board recognized that the needs of our growing organization were not being met by existing processes. This led to extensive research to find a solution(s) that would allow for continued expansion in our membership, impact, and reach. Through several recommendations from local associations across our state as well as the Greenville Chamber of Commerce, we connected with GrowthZone. After completion of a 90 day onboarding and building process, our brand new website and subsequent Association Management Software has launched.
Our online directory is being updated daily to reflect all of our current active members, spotlight our sponsors, and promote YOUR businesses to the public.
